You have been assigned a compound to research. Once you have completed your research you will post your information to this wiki.

Join wikispaces and then join this wiki: Here's how:

1. You need to create a wikispaces account to become a member of the class page.

• Click on the “Join” link at the top right-hand side of the “agostinechocolate” page.
• Create an account using your last name and first initial.
• WRITE DOWN your user name and password (I can't retrieve it for you if you forget it!)
• DO NOT CHECK THE BOX THAT SAYS "CREATE A WIKI", since you will be adding your information to this wiki.
• Once you are signed in, click on the “join this wiki” link located at the top left side of the page.
• I will approve you as a member of the wiki.

2. Once joined, you will need to research your assigned compound.

Each group should research their chemical compound to determine:

1. The structural formula (given in the article)

2. The molecular formula CxHyNzOw. Students must figure this our from the structural formula.

3. Physical and chemical properties of the compound.

4. Effects in the body

5. Other interesting information.

All of your information should be posted to your compound wiki page.
